I ran into an awesome recipe for homemade lip gloss over at Bubbly Nature and knew I had to try it with Miss S.
We used the left over hearts we had from our Valentine's day countdown
Our lips are super smooth now!

Valentine cupcakes
We have no chocolate in the house and this mommy needed a chocolate fix so we made cupcakes!!
Miss S was so funny making them she put one sprinkle on at a time. Most children would just dump as much as they could on the cupcake but not Miss S she put one or two perfectly placed and that was it. She also cracked her first solo egg and didn't get any shell in the bowl. I was so proud and she was so excited.
I'm enjoyingtwo one right now while doing my blog surfing.

Mirror headboard
We are in the process of redoing our master bedroom. We wanted a headboard that would be attached right to the wall. After looking and looking I found one I really liked.
I found it here
Loved Loved Loved it but $40 just for mirrors made me shiver. So I bookmarked it and thought maybe I would find something that would work or I would break down and buy the mirrors from IKEA.
I took little Miss S to the dollar store this morning because I needed a baby gift bag and of course I had to look around. I ran into some mirrors and started laying them out on the floor to see if they would work as a headboard. I decided that it was worth the shot.
This is what I came up with!! Not bad for $8 and all of 10 minutes to hang it.
Do you think I should add another row to the bottom?

Valentine's Day countdown
Got this amazingly cute idea from cuddles and cameras
I painted my heart plate pink with some spray paint I had left over from another project. The packages of hearts from our dollar store was a mixed pack. I just wrote the numbers on the hearts with a sharpie.
Little Miss S is so excited! Some hearts have just candy and others have a piece of candy and a little piece of paper with an activity inside.
